Rachel is a talented and hard working skilled individual with seven years of multi-media production.  She possess an understanding of storytelling.
Rachel produce projects from conceptual storyboarding to finished products.  She incorporates the principles of animation in order to an effective story as well as utilizing compositing techniques (lighting, texturing) to create finished scenes.

(2017) Student Volunteer

Selected from 1000 applicants to support operations of SIGGRAPH which served over 16,500  attendees.

   Assisted international exhibitors with presenting and demonstrating their          technology to attendees
   Ensured software licenses were validated
   Performed as the conference mascot, Shay D. Pixel​

Oversaw productivity of 10 other students remotely. Communicated via class threads, phone, email ensuring continuity was maintained and deadlines were met.

    Assisted in character and environment design, asset modeling and                       animation

    Filed and edited footage together, created additional Foley and other                   graphics

Creative Filmakers Association - Ohio
(2011 - 2012)  Apprentice Editor/Intern

Twenty apprentices were selected from over one hundred to edit video into sub-topics of a documentary slated for national debut in 2015. Apprentices worked with established industry editors learning industrial processes of non-linear video editing.

    Accomplishments:

    Creating and uploading documents to the website,

    Transcribing video footage,

    Handling equipment and setting up shots on location

Natcoll Design and Technology (Yoobee) - New Zealand (2009-2010)  Project Manager/Animator/Modeler

Monitored and updated 18 students’ progress for dailies.  This included modelling, rigging, texturing, file formatting, lighting, and rendering.

    Contributed to pre-visualizations, sound, asset modelling, texturing and             animation

    Redistributed responsibilities based on priorities and capabilities to offset         bottlenecks

American Embassy of Wellington - New Zealand
